We don't believe in keeping a dog only for as long as it is breedable. Once we accept a pup/dog into our family, that is what it is...... it is FAMILY. So once a dog ages up and is no longer able to be bred safely, or once a dog has any type of health issue or characteristic not up to breed standards, we retire that particular dog. That dog stays at home with us, inside our home until they pass on. Once we take on a dog, it is with us for the rest of his or her life. These are the dogs that we have retired either due to age or some other reason.
